Time to meet another speaker, this week, Chris Ebright! Chris is the lead instructor for University of Toledo in Ohio. Chris has two talks for us on Friday, April 15th. He describes them like this:
Pediatric Sepsis: “Caring for a septic infant or child presents not only a management challenge, but also causes anxiety and fear in even the most seasoned EMT and paramedic. As one of the leading causes of death for children in the U.S., the EMS professional must be familiar with the signs and symptoms of this life-threatening event.”
Tipsy/Trashed: “Sometimes patients look like they have a certain problem and end up suffering from something totally different. This presentation will show how a thorough assessment can help to form a differential diagnosis and provide the best possible care.”
