#TechTuesday with Jazz Rozier

Welcome back to #TechTuesday. Today we’re going to get to know our other Advanced EMT, Jazz Rozier.

Tell us about yourself:

I was born in Virginia. I graduated in 2010 and went on to attend James Madison University. After two years I returned home where I began to work on fishing and dolphin watching boats. I started as a deckhand and quickly learned the trade until I became a captain of one of the boats after I obtained my 100-ton license. I ran a fishing boat for 4 years until I wanted to experience a different type of job. I began the process for Norfolk Fire-Rescue and after a 2 year process I was hired. I met my now wife shortly after I graduated from the academy. She was visiting Virginia Beach, and we met on Tinder, funny enough. We grew close very quick and it was like I had found my long lost best friend. My life has been ruined since then. Just kidding!. She did however trick me into moving to KY saying that the weather wasn’t different then VA. That was a lie! I have been freezing ever since, but I’m happy to be here with her.
